The Customer Service Blues
Boo hoo to the customer service blues! No one wants them but we all get them from time to time.
So, I wrote a little slow song about it. Click here or on the image below to take a listen!
The Customer Service Blues
Written and performed by Jenny Dempsey
Ring Ring Ring I’m calling in/My service ain’t working again/waiting on hold/oh here we go!
No/ that’s just so automated/This Menu is making me irritated/I just wanna talk to a human, please? 20 buttons later, you pick up/full of attitude/and you don’t care about me at all
You have no idea/you have no clue/Just walk a mile in my shoes/treat me like you’d treat you
You’re giving me the customer service blues
Ring ring ring so I call back in/20 buttons later/I get you again/30 minutes on hold/
I just wanted some help for my phone you see/and a little bit of empathy/but I got none and I feel so down/I might switch service/I’ll start to look around/now there goes one customer/I’m sure there will be more
You have no idea/you have no clue/Just walk a mile in my shoes/treat me like you’d treat you
You’re giving me the customer service blues

Brilliant!!!! Dear ol’ Customer Service…That communication channel is so vital, and so is turnaround time. I found a website called http://hellopeter.com/ which allows me to write reports about my Suppliers (all of them) and then give them a fair chance to respond to me. You should check it out (and maybe write a song about them, too)!
Great job Jenny! Such a serious customer service song. You could actually put this on your album.
