Memory, Method and Mediocrity

I’m 45 this week.

Age is a wonderful thing.  It brings wisdom.  I’ve finally come to the realisation that I am not perfect.  In fairness to my wife, she has been telling me this for the past 20 years, but it is finally sinking in.  I have to admit to being a little cheap windows 10 Product Key less than faultless.

So I have my faults

Let me give you an example… I enjoy a drink

Now I need to put that in context, before you get the wrong idea.  I don’t down a litre of vodka before breakfast, beat my children and then jump into a car and drive to work.  My problem is fortunately not that extreme.

I do however enjoy a glass or two of wine www.licensekeysale.com with my evening meal.  It is a slippery slope and I need to cut back.

Cutting back is not easy, but neither is it impossible, there is more than one way of doing it, I have options:

Option 1.  Rely on my memory

I know I shouldn’t drink every night of the week.  I know it is bad for me.  I just need to stop.  I need to employ some will power.  I just need to remember.  Simple.

Option 2.  Employ a method

Lock the wine in the attic, only buy one bottle a week, or in my case… get my wife to hide the bottle opener.

Care to guess which option works best?  Method beats memory every time.

What has that got workhospitality.com.au windows 10 key cheapto do with customer service?

Now that was a lovely story, it is even possible that parts of it were true, but what has it got to do with customer service?  How is it relevant here?

How can method improve your customer service?

bezos11Let me tell you another story about another man who is also in his 40’s, Jeff Bezos.
70-410
640-916
Mr. Bezos is a clever man.  Over the past 15 years he has taken Amazon from a pile of books in a garage to the point Windows 10 key online where he is in the world wide top 50 rich list.
ADM-201
700-039
How did he do that?

Fundamentally he did it by focusing on one thing, his customers.  He wants Amazon to be the “worlds most customer centric organisation”.

Being customer centric is a bit like not drinking.

We all know it is the right thing to do, but it is hard, there are distractions.  It isn’t easy being customer focused when you have to land this quarter’s sales softproductkey numbers.  You can rely on your memory and use your will power to help you, but if you can find a method or a mechanism that makes you stick to your C2150-508 resolution, well it can only help can’t it?

So what is Jeff Bezos’s method?

It all revolves around an empty chair.  At Amazon in their meeting rooms they regularly place an empty chair at the table.

The rationale is simple, the chair is empty waiting for a customer www.licensekeysale.com to come and sit in it.  When they are making business decisions, going round the table seeking opinions the empty chair https://www.pass4lead.com/300-070.html prompts them to ask “what would the customer think?

I won’t kid you and say it is that easy, or that an empty chair will put you on the rich list, but if you are keen to be customer centric an empty chair would be a very good https://www.pass4lead.com/210-451.html place to start.

I forgot to mention the third option

I talked about option one, memory, and option buy Windows 10 Pro Key two, method.  So what is option three?

Option three is mediocrity; you don’t have to be customer centric at all.

And on that note, can anybody lend me a bottle opener?

  • Great article, thanks! Customer service is probably one of the most underrated things in this world – truly a dying art. I have come across a website which allows me to receive the customer service I deserve. By writing reports about my Suppliers, and allowing them to respond to me regarding the matter at hand, http://hellopeter.com/ has helped restore my faith in customer service.

  • Glad you liked the article Maryke and thanks for the link to hellopeter.

I hope more social media pressure will drive better customer service
